The Red Hot Chilli Pipers

In the evening Marjolein took me to see the Scottish band "Red Hot Chilli Pipers". It was cool!

3 pipers, a bass player, guitar player, keyboard player, a big drummer and a small drummer, or whatever the latter is called ;-)

Afterwards we had some drinks in Mulligans where a 4 piece all girls Bluegrass band was playing. They took very long breaks, talked a lot in between songs and quite frankly, although they looked the part, their songs weren't that great...

At least Barry poured me a few good pints o' black.

First tickets! :-)

The wildlife next door...

The wildlife close to work. All 13 little ones are still there, just slightly bigger now.

I walked to work with Tanisha, my colleague. It was sunny at first but then out of the blue a gigantic drop of water came down. We had to shelter in the new HEMA head office.

On my way home the ferry was very busy.

After a year and a half you "get to know" some people who are on your ferry a lot as well. So there are these two birds who think they wear the hottest shit. I dunno where they get it from but they are the worst dressers in the world, not even shy of fur unfortunately.

Today one of them wore her pyjama pants.

In the evening I had to wait a bit before going to see the dentist to get 2 cavities drilled out and filled. A joyful event! My dentist is such a sweet girl but I think she raped my jaw...

When I got home the first two tickets of my vacation in France had arrived. St. Malo - Lannion. YAY!

No photos, sorry

I forgot to make any pictures today. My day was busy. Mad at work, lots of questions by email, chat or phone from colleagues, things to be decided or done, hardly had time to do some actual work. I am looking forward to moving in to a smaller office. I feel I can get more work done and there's a LOT that needs doing...

In the evening I went to Mulligans with Marjolein to meet Nantko. His brother and sister were there as well and Kate, too. We had a fun night :-)

The spider

A little spider lives in my window. I wonder if it knows how to use a broom...

Baby bird edition

Bikes "parked" on the bridge... Probably "vandalised" on a bridge.

This Nile Goose has 13!!!! babies!

The little army of baby geese stormed the shore to eat the algae from the rocks.

The left BMW is now missing the grille and it's leaking radiator fluid...

There were also these swans with 4 babies. Beautiful :-)

The palace at Dam square in town has been fenced off for years. Tourists got fucked coz it was completely hidden by scaffolding around it. It was to clean and restore the outside as the building is made of a near-white coloured stone. I think that they think they are finished except... it looks just as filthy as it did before. WTF?

Remembering Dick Turpin

Before my haircut.

After my haircut.

A mirror from IKEA. 14,95 euro. 27cm wide and 171cm tall. A right bargain.

I put it up for Marjolein. She seems quite pleased with it :-)

Early evening we walked to Bloemendaal to go out for dinner.

We went to a lovely place called De Rusthoek. Great service, great menu, great food for a very decent price. A good find!

Marjolein re-acquianted me with Dick Turpin in the evening. Something I had to-tal-ly forgotten about. Major AHA-erlebnis for me!
