At noon I went to Ikea with Eva. We tested chairs. Not that we need any but since we were there anyway...
We weren't the only chair testers.
In the evening I had dinner at Jon's house in the honour of Birgitte and Rob who visited from Melbourne, Aus.
John Baker, Phil, Jon, SG and Paddy.
Later that night, at an undisclosed house at an undisclosed location I found this and thought it was very funny.

The ChipSoft new year dinner.
My bonsai at work loves me because it's making new leaves. I like :-)
A copper chopper (pigs in spaaaaaaaaaace) was flying around.
Later I read that earlier this week, across the water 2 ships collided and one of them was an oil tanker and it leaked. So they towed it away to a secure area behind an oil proof barrier. Unfortunately the barrier wasn't wind proof and the wind blew the oil underneath the barrier and now there is a 3 kilometer trail of oil in the canal here. Lots of birds are covered in oil :-(
My work organised a new year's dinner. It was fun. I sat with Ira, Joop and Josianne and somebody who's name eludes me. It was good company, we had quite a few laughs and more drinks ;-)
Bjorn, Sylvester and Hans? were sitting opposite us.
More people.
And even more people. There were probably about 100 people.
Nicole emailed me this funny picture. No comment required :-)

My JINX! stuff arrived!
I slept in a bit this morning after I came home so late. My foresight to take today off was good. A street cleaner drove by.
My stuff from JINX! arrived today.
I bought a new t-shirt.
And also I bought a new hoodie.
Late arvo I walked in to town hunting for food and other things. I passed this new chips shop in the Leidsestraat. I love the name. Pity they don't add another 's' at the end...
I finished my visit to town with a few pints of cider in Mulligans where it was nice and quiet. When three people came in and the total amount of customers hit 10 I left... too busy ;-)

The steaming apparatus equipment device
My lottery ticket that I won arrived. Let's hope I'll get rich. Because when I do, you do! :-)
I went to see my good friend Eva in the evening. I was going to hang up two lamps but couldn't due to missing tools. She stuck up with her part of the bargain and made a fabulous dinner. We were accompanied by a few bottles of wine and a great time was had. I got home at 3:30.
She showed me cooking hardware that impressed me very much so! It's for steaming veggies. I want one!

The non solar eclipse.
OMFG! It's a solar eclipse! Except that you can't see shit because it's also winter meaning... you can't see shit. Especially no solar eclipses...
But, everything was made alright today by a fresh batch of multi-meuk juice. 1 bottle a day is all I want. Someone somewhere suddenly decided to replace all the appelsientje bottles (of which I have never heard any complaints) by some vitamin water that nobody really likes that much. So I asked for my appelsientje tropical back and here it is. Good stuff!

bye bye ring
Yesterday, my aunty and uncle gave me these very nice looking bottles of beer. Thanks! :-)
There was a wookie on my tram in the morning.
On my way back home after squash.
My hematite ring broke when I ran in to the wall again. It had to happen at some point. My thumb now looks topless...

Blue sky pie!
Fliegtuich.
We had crispy blue sky this morning and it remained sunny all day. I had my windows open, it wasn't too cold and I got 6 visitors anyway so it warmed up inside pretty quick.
Ilse and my dad.
Cassie and my mom.
My aunty and uncle came over as well but I forgot to take a photo. They brought me funny brands of foreign beers which I like a lot :-)
I baked another apple pie. My third ever. It's better than any pie I've made before.
