Silver always wanted to get outside when he wasn't supposed to (yet). But a few days ago he was allowed to go but got scared of all the sounds and ran back in.
But he is still curious and sometimes he gets courageous enough to try ;-)
In the evening the four of us went for a walk. The weather was lovely.
Nice.

The foggy walk
I went for an early morning walk to the Twiske today. It was very quiet and a bit foggy, very nice, not too cold.
On the way there you have to walk underneath these power lines. In normal weather they just crackle a little but now with the fog, it was sizzling!
The Twiske was very nice with the fog.
The Twiske mill still doesn't have it's wings back. They were blown off in a storm a couple of months back.
Nice.

The Oldsmobile
Another day, another walk. There was a sailing class in the Twiske.
You know, where the Twiske mill is that I have photographed 5 million times now ;-)
Simone spotted this oldie.
It's an Oldsmobile. I believe it's from 1960.

The coffee table
I bought this little table from IKEA and now I have a nice little coffee corner at work! I love it!
On my way home there were lots of bunnies next to the busstop again.
In the evening we walked again. The Twiske park is always beautiful.

Installing the new thermostat housing
Today I made some car-time. I really want to be able to drive again so this thermostat thing needs to get fixed pronto! But before I started on that, I put my new vacume cleaner together. I bought it a while ago. It doesn't just suck, it also blows, real hard! And it can also suck up water. Great! And it wasn't very expensive. So I cleaned out my car inside and then I blew around the engine bay and it looks cleaner now :-)
Well, there is the old thermostat. All blown clean now ;-)
I then installed the new thermostat and it's housing.
Hooked up the hose.... And then I had to leave coz dinner time was only 30 minutes away. I'll have to continue another time.
After dinner we went for a big walk. Lovely weather for walking.

The Twiske / The 'vette
We went for a walk through the Twiske area and the town of Landsmeer. The weather was lovely so why not? This stencil was on the bike path somewhere. Uh?
The Twiske is a wonderful piece of nature.
When you can look past all the modern stuff that surrounds it you can really see what it used to be like before the urban jungle arrived... Beautiful.
In Landsmeer this 'vette was parked. Awesome car.

Walking in the Twiske
I went on an early morning walk to the Twiske. It was nice and quiet, well, apart from all the joggers that is ;-) The construction of some new houses is going well.
Getting closer.
This is the Twiske, a lovely piece of natural habitat for lots of different animals, me being one of them ;-)
The Twiske mill.
The back of the mill reminds me of the back of old sailing ships.

The walk
Simone, Milan and I went for a walk just after noon. It snowed a little last night and it was quite cold. There was ice on some parts of the water.
The Twiske mill.
It's a lovely area for a little walk.
Sun. Please gimme more of that soon!

The walk
This week there are 4 evenings where kids can go for organised walks of 5 or 10km. If you walk all 4 evenings you deserve a medal. So Milan is walking the 10km with a few kids from his school too. It's a pretty decent walk I tell ya! And it's pretty awesome of Milan to walk the 10 km (plus an additional 2-3 from his school to the starting point).
Tonight the weather was kinda crazy. It rained a little bit but most of all it was incredibly windy.
The views were great though.
Tall grass was waving and waving in the endless winds.
The Twiske mill was standing still, just holding position in the strong wind.
I couldn't chose between these two photos so here they are both ;-)
