Fixing Eva's place

I baked another apple pie. This is my 4th one ever and it's the absolute best.

I went over to Eva late arvo to fix a lot of things. Originally I was only going to hang up 2 ceiling lights but there were a few other little things that I do a lot faster than she can so... Besides... she was cooking me a second dinner coz last time we couldn't get anything done really due to a lack of tools. So I put up this little bathroom shelf.

... a mirror. Eva apparently very happy with all these fixes ;-)

Couple of shelves for more stocking space. I also fixed clothing rack to the wall and a big standing mirror. It was a very productive day and I was so tired by midnight that I had to go home before I could finish the second bottle of wine. I must be getting old...

TURBO!

It was very windy while I was walking to work. The big crane ship is still undergoing repairs. It hasn't even had it's first assignment yet and it's already in repairs...

That big lit up thing in the background is the same crane ship seen from the ferry on my way home.

I went to the cinema with my friend Patricia. We saw a Dutch movie called "Turbo". It was funny :-)

Then we had dinner and ended up in St James gate at Rembrandplein. The trees are still lit up and I made Patricia stand next to one. Kinda reminds me of a french soldier with that white bag strap on her ;-)
It was a very nice evening indeed.

Sometimes the past catches up on me still...

In the evening I went to the Mickey's and they cooked me a nice meal. It's always nice to have dinner with them.

The light.

I bought this wall lamp at IKEA last Saturday as well. It looks a lot better for real. iPhones do not deal well with light and darkness at all. Anyway, it's shining an excellent light on my desk now and it can be dimmed just like the light in my "living room" ;-)

I had to cut off the cord for the IKEA lamp. I noticed it was a fair bit longer than the cord on my egg lamp which I actually haven't been using because it's cord is too short! So I replaced it with the cut-off cord and here it is. Shining a lovely light again.

Quite happy with all my lights now :-)

I started watching season 1 of Star trek Voyager. It was emotional...

I bought this wheely thing at IKEA yesterday to put my plant on. It looks so much nicer now and it is so much more practical. I love it!

I visited my folks in the evening because it was my mom's birthday today!

After all 500 family members had left my dad and I brought some chairs back to my aunty around the corner. She makes a BIG Christmas scene every year...

After coffee I made my way home again. This is a tunnel. A tunnel I hate. Not coz it's dangerous but because of how it looks.
