Town

I went to town today and visited the little beguinage. Plenty of tourists to stand in the way of any picture you're trying to take there! ;-)
They have now put a little garden on the nun's grave.

I liked this tree.

In fact, I liked it all :-) It's just a wonderful place in town.

I walked home along the canals.

Late arvo I took the bus to Simone's again. Right before we wanted to enter the tunnel the coppers came and blocked it off. Later I heard there had been a non-fatal accident.

The clean-up

So... we discovered that some times ago a little accident had happened and remained unnoticed for days or possibly weeks... A bottle of washing liquid had fallen down and cracked. Not just a normal bottle but unfortunately an XXL bottle :-(

The clean-up, including moving stuff out of the way carefully and also cleaning underneath the lino, took a whopping 3 hours or so but we do have a clean, nice smelling corner again ;-)

Then I went to my car. The scratch I made last thursday is just paint but it makes the car look like shit so I want it fixed asap. Today I sanded the spot and put a primer on.

I also worked on the trunk a bit. I haven't found any serious rst on the trunk floor yet which is good. All of it is superficial sofar.

Oh, and I scored a few more hotwheels yesterday ;-)

I noticed awesome clouds while waiting for the tram on the way home.

I made 2 photos and couldn't decide which one is better so here's the other one.

My rose is blooming.

In the evening I went to my car and started sanding away rust.

But the battery of my drill ran out soon and I was done... This may take a while.

More Hot wheels

More Hot wheels arrived today.

In the evening we visited my folks. My dad had a bit of a bicycle accident last week but he's doing better already. I had a beer.

My Hot wheels collection has expanded somewhat. I do like these little cars :-)

When I came home from work, Simone had started painting the bathroom ceiling. We finished it together after dinner. A job well done if I may say so!

The Hot wheels

This morning I went for a run again. Twice around the mill and back. Nice.

I went to get some groceries but then also went to Blokker to have look at their Hot wheels. I'm growing very fond of these little cars and am slowly starting to collect their muscle cars. I bought one yesterday and 2 more today ;-)
