The busy but fun day.

I bought lights today for in my kitchen. Now I can see what I cook again.

Then I went shopping. Got a new Tee. I like.

And then i had a waffle and a fruit smoothie, which was very nice! Bit of a new discovery this place. I told them to also make beetroot with pineapple which is very refreshing.

Today the Gay Pride Parade was on. Lots of floats went through the canals to raise awareness for gay acceptance everywhere.

The floats are often very cool.

Sometimes organizations send in their own float, like this one, which is from an Amsterdam hospital.

I also got me some new shades. I like.

Late arvo I got on my bike and drove to Durgerdam. Along the way I met Gerrit. We went for a swim first and then a bite in restaurant "Het schooltje" in Holysloot.

Bye bye ugly console!

I started my day with some weight training and cardio on the cross trainer.

Then I went to my car. I really wanted to ditch the console between the seats. It's just ugly and doesn't do justice to the car I think. Kinda makes it look like an old people's car on the inside ;-)

So I have this smaller console I wanted to mount today. Unfortunately I couldn't screw it on because there were no holes for it. Need to drill the holes myself first. To be continued...

Bye bye ugly console. It's worth some money though and it belongs to the car so I took it home.

Later in the afternoon I took out my bike to go for a ride.

Argh...

At least there was a bomb shell sunbathing on the first boat so there was some entertainment ;-)

I had to sit for a bit. It was so bloody warm.

And then I just wanted to feel the water and dipped my feet in :-)

Since the weather was so fantastic, I went for a bicycle ride in the evening. First stop was Durgerdam. Lovely little village.

I cycled along the dyke of the Markermeer. There were SO MANY insacts flying there that the seagulls were feasting on them.

Then I cycled to Holysloot and then towards Ransdorp.

I came across this statue of a man and a sheep. Neat. It was very hidden and nearly missed it...

Almost home... I sat at one of my favourite spots in town for a bit. The fountain on Frederiksplein :-)

Cycling

Crossing with the ferry this morning.

I went for a walk after lunch. I needed air.

On my way home I spotted the first babies of the season at the wharf. They're pretty quick!

When I got home I got on my bike right away and left. The views were pretty nice at times.

I cycled to my quiet spot at the edge of Amsterdam.
