The fix

In preparation of putting a little shed behind my house I wanted my non-fixed outside floor to be fixed. The weather was OK today and I felt like doing it because I saw this real nice little shed the other day that I'd like to order soon.

I had to drill a lot of holes in very hard concrete for this which I hate doing. But it went well and these are the results:

Fixing the deeper side. I put in 2 of these.

Fixing the less deeper side close to my kitchen.

Uber soup!

From the ferry this morning.

My colleague Bjorn with dots on the 'o' gave me this soup to try the other day. Today the moon and the stars were right for tasting and it was GOOD!

This soup definitely earned the Vincent seal of approval!

PS: Bjorn, if you're reading this, can you bring me another chicken soup please? ;-)

I went over to Mic's folks' house to have dinner before playing squash with Mic. They had lots of other guests as well so it was very busy and Joke cooked a fantastic dinner. First time I had eel and I loved it.

Mic and Mickey's boy, Yaan, had made a cake in honour of all the guests. I estimated it to weigh about 7 kilos. I recognised sponge, strawberries and large quantities of nutella. It was awesome!

Noortje was quite keen on some cake as well ;-)

Me

This is me with a lamp post and clouds. I felt quite shit this morning but a little bit better by the end of the day.

The sad

Marjolein and I went to the beach today. It was a very, very sad day. We were both very sad. I caused the sadness because, well, I saw no other way. I feel like shit. Marjolein doesn't deserve this.

We watched gulls diving in to the water for worms or something.
