The Nassaukade close to my house.
I had to do a few things back at my place that I just don't get around to otherwise. One of them was repotting my grandma's plant. I once gave it to my late granny about 20 years ago. When she died I took it home. When I lived in Australia my suster Ilse took care of it and I'm again looking after it since my return. It's doing well but now it needs a bigger pot...
I put little rocks at the bottom.
And voila, enjoy, little plant :-)
Another thing I wanted to do was connect the new thermostat. The old one has a fucked up display so you can't even read the temperature or use it to set the time or temp. Useless.
But to start using the new one you have to pair ir up with the remote receiver first and then re-program it etc. It's done now.
And a third very important thing I've been wanting to do for ages is getting a recent backup of my stuff that sits on my iMac. Check.

Yeah right...
I went to my car straight after work to check on a couple of things. Somebody told me it shouldn't be too hard to get to the fuel pump from above. Yeah right...
Sunset on my way back home.

The apartments
The building at the end of my street is kinda done. It looks nice. All expensive apartments for people with money. Not so cool...

Chess with Ruud
Construction infront of HEMA.
I met Ruud tonight. We had drinks and played chess. For the first time ever I managed to beat him ;-)

The beach
This afternoon we went to the beach. The weather was lovely.
Milan and I wanted to get our feet wet. I got my feet wet, Milan got a bit wetter ;-)
Big clouds and a kite.
It was not very busy which was surprising because it was such nice weather.
England!
Beach.
Wet feet :-)
One last look...
