The fountain

In the morning I went to a board game shop in town. The nearby square has been re-developped and they made a big fountain in the ground. Very nice!


I had a gift voucher for this shop and I bought this game with it. It's pictionary but from LEGO. So instead of drawing things you have to build them.


This is a new kitten that my FRIEND Tanja (who is also a colleague ;-) ) recently got. Very cute and very playful. Tanja organised a BBQ / housewarming. It was fun!

New high score!

This really happened yesterday before I went to bed but it was past midnight so the pic was dated today... details details. What really matters is that I set a new high score of 613! ;-)

I had a good day at work designing a piece of software.

A colleague of mine made cupcakes for his birthday. Gotta appreciate his effort so I ate three to show my appreciation, of course ;-)

While I was there I thought I'd photograph some cranes.

At home I unwrapped the beers I got from my folks. They look nice!

Kanen aan het IJ

Today after work I visited a weekly dining festival that started this summer. It's every wednesday night just across from Central Station. It roughly translates to "Munching at the IJ". The "IJ" is the body of water behind Central Station.

Eva, Gerrit and yours truly. All the seats were taken so we walked to the riverbanks and sat down there.

I got this off a colleague of mine. Nice to have! It's an antique in this digital age. Donkey Kong I from Nintendo. Very pleased with it :-)

In the evening I went to play squash with Eva. So I pull out my shorts and what falls on the floor? My ring that I lost yesterday! YAY! :-)

Ring gone...

Lunch. This looks like the kind of day it was actually...

It was during this lunch I think that I lost one of my rings. In this case one that I wore for about 20 years or so.

I cut yesterday's cake today!

My mom and dad were getting the first 2 pieces. It was good! :-)

They brought me a gift in advance for my birthday. Lots of different beers. I like!
