I finally reached the end.
Nothing exciting happened today apart for finally reaching the end of this 1000 page book on Microsoft .Net that I've been reading the past months. It took me so long that I can remember the first chapters anymore so now I'll have to read my notes and start making test exams.
Once, there was a salad.
I bought a salad for lunch. I had one made with:
- Mixed salad leaves
- Basil
- Red onion
- Roasted pine nuts
- Parmesan cheese
- Sweet tomato and chilli dressing
Next time, I'm gonna throw in some roasted chicken as well. I only thought about making a photo after the deed. I cleaned it out. I ate every little piece i could find. Not bad for someone who was traumatised by salad.
After work we drove to Henley. We hadn't been at the Thai Orchid for at least 2 weeks so it was time :-P
Because we were early we parked the car at the beach front while it was still raining and we watched the sea.
When I came home there was a present for me. Blizzard sent me a parcel to thank me for my patience in regards to them taking a bit long to switch my US key for the "Wrath of the Lich King" expansion to a EU key. Very nice of them.
They sent me a mouse mat with a dwarf on it.
And a T-shirt with an alliance logo.
I play horde by the way... ;-)

Fountain: Off.
The fountain at Victoria square was turned off for maintenance during lunch. It was now even quieter.
I only worked half a day today. Nicole picked me up early afternoon and we had a coffee at Scoozi's.
Across the street there were a few people walking with face masks on. The pigs ;-)
Nicole after a cup of coffee and a bacci chocolate.

The sky
Thankfully the weather was nice during lunch and i was able to find an empty bench at the fountain where i sat in the warm sun for 30 minutes.
This is my view when waiting for my bus to go home. The sky was amazing. In Australia, it seems like the sky is bigger and higher than in The NL. It's fantastic. I haven't seen sky more beautiful than in Australia. Whether you look up during the day or at night, it's always big and it always makes me feel very little.
The 5PM exodus.
There is only one spot in the bus where I can sit normal (meaning where my knees don't get crushed) and that's next to the disabled spot.
The bus is like Noah's ark picking up people to leave the city.
