Visiting Raymond & Joyce

After a good and long sleep Corinne and I went out for breakfast. We had a few hours before she had to catch her train back home and going out for breakfast is just an incredibly relaxing way to start the day.

This was my breakfast. Awesome! Bit much though ;-)

After dropping Cori off I took a train to see Raymond and Joyce. I see them only a few times a year but it's always fun! It's funny how effortless you can stay in touch with certain people. I've known them for ehmm.. 15 years now? Shees I'm getting old ;-)

This is their dog Amor. She's a doll. And very well behaved as well, for a girl ;-)

Raymond showed me a cooking device I hadn't seen before. This is to smoke your salmon in. It cooks the salmon as well but not very hot. You put some wood shavings in the bottom and it makes smoke. Was very nice! And I learned about a new cooking tool :-)

I brought a bottle of pink champagne with me.

All professional... ;-)

When I got back at Central Station they were just putting up this year's Christmas tree. It looks like somebody took a bite out of it!

It's Cori-time!

I was getting an unexpected visitor today! I waited for her at the train station where I saw this little mousie.

The unexpected visitor was my very old little Malteser friend Corinne! YAY!
We walked from the station to my house. Here's Cori in "De 9 straatjes".

Church view.

Best enjoyed together :-)

In the evening we splashed out on dinner and drinks. Naturally ending up in Mulligans where there was some fine music to enjoy brought to us by the Tennessee studs. That's bluegrass.

The tour

My breakfast.

... and going back in to town to meet the girls.

Took them around town a bit today. First stop: The red light district. I'd like to add that this was BY REQUEST, not my idea ;-) I think there are nice places to see for tourists.

The girls at the old nunnery.

Cori photographing Francesca at the Nightwatch.

We had dinner at Haesje Claes.

Graffiti of Vincent Van Gogh.

Graffiti of Einstein with a supermarket-bag.

Fun fair.

Me, cori and Francesca having a drink at the hotel.

My (non) Belgian visitors

There's a cow on my wall.

My back is starting to look like the fuckin moon now...

I repotted my three little plants.

They're real plants now. Gonna set them free soon.

I met these 2 lovely girls for dinner and drinks. Francesca (Italian) and Corinne (Maltese). We had a fun night. Corinne is a very old friend of mine, we go way back. It's a friendship I cherish.
