The ravioli

After work Tanja and I went straight to "Kanen aan het IJ" again for drinks and dinner with Gerrit.

The weather wasn't as great as last week but I did sit in the sun a bit. We had our first few plates of food outside.

My drink du jour ;-)

Ravioli! Very good ravioli too :-)

Bye bye government!

I bought Duvel beer with a Duvel glass :-)

My rose is making flowers. I had to spray against bugs few times now, I hope it's not killing the flowers :-(

Underneath my patio at the back. The patio is lying on top of little piles of stones and tiles. It's not screwed on to anything. If I'm going to build a small shed it needs to be fixed to the floor.

The best news of today was the collapse of the Dutch government. They were on a totally anti-social track. It was all about the money and the poor and the weak could go fuck themselves. Good riddance!

Lawn art.

Part of yesterdays work. I continued the front today.

My arty-farty impression of my work.

I threw the pigeons some seed.

I played some world of Warcraft too.

I threw myself a beer in the evening.

The day before the weekend.

I went to work with the bus this morning. Took ages. Unpleasant ride. Stupid people. Too little space to sit really. Yuck. This is my view from the bus stop.

Beer o'clock.

We had dinner at the pub. I was hungry.

Rain, all day long.

Rain when I left to work.

Rain when I got to work.

Rain when I sat down for lunch.

Rain.

Friday afternoon happiness.

Unfortunately it was over too soon.

After work Nicole picked me up and we went to the Central Market.

Nic buying snow peas at a little asian grocery store.

It was quite busy because the market is closed tomorrow.

We dropped off our groceries around 18:00 which was lucky for the cockies because their food bowls were completely empty (and they made sure to tell us they were hungry!). After feeding them, we fed ourselves at an Indian restaurant close by.

The Red back spider

The Friday afternoon beer!

I was meeting Nicole after work at the Lemongrass restaurant. I walked a different way for a change. It wasn't as spectacular as Kees' walks but it was still fun.

Old door.

Back street in the city.

I walked over North Terrace. The city (centre) of Adelaide is a square surrounded by four terraces like this.

There is the biggest parking I have ever seen on North Tce.

The uni of Adelaide is everywhere in the city.

The free masons also have a house/office there. This was the first stone. I'm thinking of changing my title ("Ing" = engineer title) to "The Most Worshipful Grand Master". It just has a better sound to it don't you think?

When we came home I spotted a new visitor in our garden: A Redback spider.

We took photo's and then delicately got rid of it by smashing it between two wooden planks. It's better not to have any poisonous things around...
