The bicycle trolley

I hooked up the new bicycle trolley today and Simone used it right away. All went well. Perfect test ;-)

I bought this book. It's a woman's view on her time in the psychiatric ward of a hospital much like the one I worked at yesterday.

Working at the hospital

View from my hotel balcony as I woke up. I slept well but a bit short. I'm impressed with this hotel. Great room, great diner, lovely breakfast and a nice atmosphere.

My office for the day. The software upgrade went very well. It was great being amongst my users for a change. I spent all day with people in the mental healthcare department which is always kinda like a seperate hospital inside a hospital.
It was a very good day :-)

The hotel

After work I drove to a place called Sneek, up north in Friesland that is. Tomorrow I'm part of a skeleton crew in a hospital where my software gets upgraded by a major version. Because it's bloody far away and we have to be on site at 8AM we're offered to stay in a hotel the night before. I gladly accepted and boy oh boy that hotel was nice! It's the Van der Valk in Sneek. I had dinner with colleagues I had never talked to before, from different departments, which was fun.

The WIN32 book

The only thing books on WIN32 are good for: lifting up my colleague's desk ;-)

Cold fingers

My fingers turn white when they get too cold. And they stay white for a long time unless I put hot water over them, then they come back to life real quick. Simone looked it up once, it's a "condition" but I can't remember the name. I don't think it's going to kill me.

The musical submarine

I went for a run again this morning. Ran around the mill twice for the second time and it went well. My knee didn't hurt like last time I ran this much.

The mill was positioned perfectly for a picture, though I hate having to stop in the middle of a run, I couldn't resist.

And the results are...

Simone and I saw this guy in his "musical submarine" at the mall. Pretty cool and totally steampunked.
