The market and the winery

We slept a bit later today. Till 9 o'clock! Late morning we drove to the market.

"Going down".

The market is in China town.

It gets pretty busy.

We planned to check on the boxes that we still haven't unpacked. But the weather was so lovely that all of the sudden we felt like going to the Uleybury winery!

They make really nice wines. So nice that even ~I~ drink them... Well, it's a rosé really.

They had a new menu and a new chef. Oh - my - god...

My starter was ravioli with a rabbit filling. What a winner. Five pieces is a perfect entrée.

My main was chicken breast filled with spinach and feta cheese and sauteed carrot, peas, onion and roasted potato. It was sensational. The chicken was so juicy and the spinach was so fresh.

Then we waited a bit and sat in the sun enjoying the silence and the wind blowing through the trees. Oh, it wasn't quiet when one of the trees decided to drop one of its branches though. That was a bit exciting. It cracked like lightning.

My desert. Those chocolates were delightful, they had a hint of port inside and they were home made by the new chef. They were the size of sugar cubes.

Then we just hung around a bit, looking at the beautiful hills.

Then sun started setting and we drove home to feed the birds.

It was a most beautiful and well spent day.

Nick the Greek

Victoria square towards the South.

Victoria square towards the North.

Fully intentionally we ended up at Henley beach after work.

And fully intentionally we ended up a a fantastic Greek restaurant we been to 7 years ago on our first holiday here. They impressed us again.

The couch models

I bought breakfast at the supermarket this morning. It was actually very nice.

Lunch was at Victoria square again, in the sun.

At work we got two couches! We now have a proper seating area where we can rest after working very hard. I modeled the couches with my colleague Mohit :-)

Fountain ingredients

The sky as I was waiting for the bus. Funnily enough it didn't rain that hard...

I bought mints and coke. As I walked back I thought it would be wise not to eat and drink these at the same time. So I waited an hour after eating three mints before I touched my coke... Wouldn't want to become a human "fountain"...

The beans

When we left to go to work, there were two Galahs in the walnut tree. Cocky-boy is a Galah as well. I think they are my favorite native Australian birds.

Lunch was beef long bean with steamed rice.

And then it was time to go home.

The citrine

The doves scouting the bucket with bird food.

Late morning we drove to Hahndorf. We were on a mission.

A chocolate mission that is.

This cutie came driving past.

And we saw grass sharks!

Nicole bought me a beautiful stone! It's citrine and I am very happy with it.

It was grey but excellent weather to walk around.

In the evening we went to Karin and Gavin. They invited us for a BBQ. Here I am sitting with a friend of theirs, Sue. It was nice meeting her.

Masterchef Gavin operating the barbie.

And yes, my little blog friends. Take note! In this picture, I am eating a king prawn. The 7th EVER IN MY WHOLE LIFE to be exact. I have made more food progress tonight. I am over my disliking of prawns! Well, as long as I don't have to peel them myself that is hehe.
