Bye bye vaporiser!

I went to my garage to take out the LPG vaporiser. That's the thing on the left. Mic came to help me.

And voila. All gone! Good stuff :-)

I picked Simone up from the ferry and we walked in to town. We had a plan but only half of it worked out which pissed me off real bad. We then watched a movie at my place and I walked Simone to the tramstop. It was a nice evening in the end.

That moment you leave all the stress behind you...

Today was very stressful and busy at work. I'm trying to not let it get to me too much.
I left work late and it was quiet on my way to the ferry. It felt heavenly...

Lots of little birds flying in groups.

Finishing my Dalwhinnie

Sun rise.

I had to go to the main building for a meeting. When I left again this truck was taking the corner. Now that requires some driving skill! The pipe reminded me of a flute.

Tonight I'm finishing the first bottle of whisky I ever bought for myself. I rarely drink whisky at home but I hadn't had a drop in ehm, I can't remember! It helps winding down ;-)

I'm glad I learned to drink whisky and also whiskey. I'm no expert but slowly I'm discovering that I like Irish whiskeys a bit more than the Scottish though. I don't think this was my last bottle of Dalwhinnie though :-)

I forgot to take any pictures today. Work is hectic and it occupies my mind a lot. Better luck next time.

Singing for the Lord

This lady sings Jesus songs in front of Central Station. She looks happy...

After work I was home for 3 minutes grabbing my squash gear and then I went to Mic's for a bite. It was busy.

I joined Mic and Mickey to their son's school. They had to quickly have a little chat (just to get updated) with his teacher.

Nothing to see here....

Not much goin' on back at the ranch today. I slept OK but woke up to a crappy dream which left me feeling a bit icky. Then I worked, went shopping and got on the cross trainer and cooked a nice dinner and then I blogged. Such a thrilling life I lead...

Pip and then more Pip

Inspector Clouseau.

I visited Ilse and Cassie because it was Cassie's birthday a few weeks ago.

The weather was great so we went for a walk in the dunes.

Every dog and it's owner was out there.

Pip was having a great time.

She ran and ran...

... and rolled in the sand. Because, it's fun? ;-)

Some dogs are a bit bigger and scarier but you still wanna smell them so you better be very, very humble!

Digging a hole is fun, too!

And then at home we get fed.

Meanwhile in Russia 3 Dutch girls won medals at the Olympics.

But I got the jackpot! Cassie's homemade chicken and mushroom ragout!

I also quickly visited my folks and back in the Dam I took a bus to see my lovie.
