New phone - new photos.

This is me seen from my new phone. I'm crispy!

Driving home after work. The sun is crispy too!

A shot while driving.

Another moving shot. Pretty good.

When we came home I was showing the phone to Tony. One of the doves was also very interested.

The fire

It was just before 2:30 in the night and Nicole and I went to the toilet. Nothing going on outside. While I'm in the loo I hear a bang. It happens. Usually it's the wind banging metal objects against things and what not. We walk back to the flat, didn't notice anything funny. We lie down and Nicole says "I smell smoke, we have to look". So I go outside, see smoke clouds in the sky and look where they're coming from. Big fat orange glow behind the backdoor neighbours house. I hadn't heard any fire alarms yet so I thought I better quickly get my ass over there to check it out. It was the house opposite our backdoor neighbours house (so, same position as ours but one street down). A few people were already standing in the street. The house was empty and apparently got raided by the police a few months ago in a drugs investigation. Five minutes later the fire brigade arrived with two trucks and I went back to try and sleep again.

After a crap night sleep we drove past the house on our way to work. On the news the fire was announced as 'suspicious'. No shit. Nothing going on first. A bang at 2:30 exactly and big flames right after. That was timed arson. Scary.

I spent lunch time at Victoria square. It was nice.

There was a one legged pigeon. It must've been born that way coz there was no remains of a former left leg.

On my way home I caught a pretty full bus. At least I got a seat.

In the evening we visited Gianna and her parents. Gianna must have been happy to see us.

Gianna and her mom.

Nicole and Gianna.

Anna and Pasquale.

The doggie

This doggie was looking at me taking his photo while we were going to work.

For lunch I went to the Thai place again. They had something that looked like oliebollen (oil-balls, a Dutch treat). Can't remember what they really were though.

This plant keeps making new leafs. He must be happy.

So is this one. Making new flowers on one side.

I was driven back home by papa smurf.

Papa smurf dropped me of at the mall where I did some shopping and then walked home. When I got home I was sweaty and stinky and yuck. I ate lovely soup and bread and then I took a shower.

Now I'm going to study again.

Luke likes doughnuts

As I was leaving the house this morning, a flock of white cockies landed in the walnut tree again.

Walking to work I noticed this shop window. I really hope it's not a clothing shop...

Half way the morning I thought it was time for doughnuts again. My colleagues Luke and Mark chipped in as well and I got us a box of 12 doughnuts.

Luke was obviously thrilled.

I walked a small round at lunch time. Mainly because I walked the wrong way looking for a cash machine but never mind that.

The company I work for is called ISS (group). There are two other ISS'. One does security and the other one cleans (or are they called hygiene engineers these days?). The cleaner guys were parked across the road during lunch.

I take the bus home these days. It's quite relaxed I have to say. I leave work just before the rush starts and the stop where I catch the bus is the first stop so the bus is almost empty when it comes meaning good seating possibilities!

It was getting dark on the way home and the lights went on to shine over the palm trees in the park.
