The dead fish

First things first today!

Back at home one of the fish had died and this is what happens. About four hours later I couldn't find the dead fish anymore...

Simone was putting cupboards together in the bed room She did a great job I must say. My lady knows how to DIY, I like :-)

Fishy fishy fishy!

On my way home from work today I saw big fat fish swimming close to the shore. Nice to look at.

On my way home I spotted big fish! When the saw me they quickly swam away in a panic.

A zeppelin was flying above the city.

People just dump their rubbish.

The threats with fines are VERY effective!

In the afternoon I ventured in to town. I bought some magic the gathering cards.

I also had my OV-chip card activated. There was a gigantic line-up but a nice girl gave me her number so I was 5 positions ahead then :-)

Tonight I went to a restaurant with an awesome fish tank.

There were two "Nemo" fishies.

The chuck key

This is a drill chuck (NL: boorkop). It's from the drill press (NL: Kolom boormachine) I found last weekend. I couldn't find a matching chuck key though so on our weekly FREAK trip to Bunnings I scored one.

We also visited a pet store to look at more bird cages. They had fishies too.

We actually saw a big-ass aquarium ("aquarum" for Americans who prefer simpler spelling of already not too difficult words like aluminium) that we might get some day.

There was also a big leash-section for all your S&M needs. Some people also use it to walk the dog.

Next door was a shoe shop. Nicole was impressed!

We went for a bit of a drive to further enhance my skills. Today I was overtaken and cut-off twice by cars on my right deciding they needed to take the exit on the left after all. Several people had trouble indicating before turning. Also Speed limits and not overtaking on the left didn't have any apparent meaning today. Some one indicated with their horn that they wanted me to dive in to reasonably fast traffic with no suitable gaps when turning left at the lights. And a Indian party crew decided to overtake me whilst driving 40 in a small suburb street.

We had lunch at Larg's bay where our seagull friends were waiting for us. We hadn't been in a while and it was nice to sit there. We even got some sun.

In the public toilets at the beach there are separate bins for syringes. I think that's a good thing.

In the evening we had dinner at Karin and Gav's. Gavin welcomed us with flowers.

He had actually hand picked them for Karin at his work. They were very pretty.

I really wanted to have a swim. Since today may be one of the last warmer ones for the next months we went to Larg's bay.

I am still very happy with the diving gear my ex-colleagues gave me. Today I actually had a good snorkel. I wore the goggles tighter than last time and there was hardly any water coming in so I could stay down very long. Also I figured out how to make the airpipe stand up properly so I wasn't choking all the time.

Nicole came in as well.

There was an incredible amount of dust, sand and what not in the water unfortunately.

Under the jetty is where you find the fishies. Rather big ones too. I don't know what kind they are. The stupid thing is that there are always a lot of people fishing from the jetty throwing their hooks far away from the jetty but the fish are right underneath! I reckon if I had a spear I could have brought some home. I rather photograph them though.
