The stunning fake tat.

The "Nieuwe kerk Amsterdam". I walked past on my way to dinner.

I met my friend Patricia for dinner, it was very nice seeing her again. We went to Genroku, a Japanese place. It's a fixed price (E23,50) for as many orders you can eat in 2 hours. Every order may contain max. 5 items. Even though I am always hesitant towards this formula I have to say the food was very nice and fresh too. I think I will go there more often!

The only bad thing was one of the waitresses who made a wonderful fake ink tattoo on her fingers. Maybe she was bored or something. She was serving people with this written on her fingers. I asked if I could photograph it and she allowed that. I was gonna email this to her boss but I'm not. Stupid people also need jobs.

OH! Almost forgot. She also had a most interesting way of removing an empty bottle by pressing a finger in it and lifting it up that way. She actually made a 5 second effort pressing her finger in the bottle...

Then we went to restaurant Schiller to sit on the terrace for dessert. But soon we had to move in coz of a torrential downpour...

When Patricia had to go home I went to Mulligans for a night cap. Same band was playing again, good stuff.

Close to home I was surprised to see about 50 horse pulled carriages driving past under police escort. Very cool. Pity for them it rained...

Horsies.

Ja, het heeft hier rond 22:00 uur gegoten van de lucht. Heel hard gewaait en gehagelt.

I also want to eat there because the quality and the amount is important and the price is good. It rained here too, lol.

@ Ilse: Wij hadden geen hagel maar wel veel onweer. Wat dan wel weer mooi was maar ik kneep em wel een beetje toen ik onder de bomen door langs de grachten naar huis moest lopen...

@ Ruud: Hee man :-) When you are back to NL for a holiday let me know and I'll take you guys there. Are you watching the soccer overt here?

We watched most of the games and also wimbeldon and the tour the France. We are exhausted because everthing is in the middle of the night. Spain deserves the victory.
We hoping to come to Europe soon.
