Leaving for Edinburgh

There were birthdays to celebrate at work so there were "oliebollen", a traditional Dutch winter snack. Very tasty if done well. The name translates to "oil balls" but when made properly they are crispy, not oily at all and soft and fluffy inside.

And these were good! :-)

In the evening I was meeting Marjolein at the airport. There was a row of pickup-people holding up signs. Amusing.

It's getting Christmassy so they're getting out the lights where ever they can.

The weather forecast for our destination was not the best.
