I went to see Simone and her kids this afternoon. Together we went to a bird-show in a nearby town. There were serious birds of prey but also owls (who are birds of prey as well, of course).
The owls have beautiful eyes. Some really bright...
And some very dark.
Some owls are tiny but very cute. This one could be in the game "Angry bird";-)
Then there also was an American Eagle.
And another eagle, can't remember the kind but it was slightly bigger and more powerful.
The Falconer showed the birds in the wrong order. This one being higher in rank was picked second and was therefore a little pissed off. She made that quite clear which was funny.
As big as a door...
Later that day I met Simone's family. Nice people and it was good to finally meet them. Simone made a lovely dinner :-)
