You're so lucky living on the other side of the water, I can tell you. I'm so fed up here. (Though I do tend to suffer "the grass is greener" syndrome quite badly.)
You know bonsai trees used to be extortionately expensive... I recently saw specimens on sale at a DIY/gardening megastore for £10 each!!
By the way can you get television from France, Germany, Belgium etc? I was just wondering... I know some people get BBC TV out there too...
I looked into satellite and cable and would you believe it on cable not ONE channel in a European foreign language (though you can get Indian/etc)... on Sky there seems to be nothing European either. You need a different satellite for that...

@ Gled: Bonsais are getting cheaper yeah. It's nice, I like them. We can get a few german, french and english channels here. Sometimes also italian...
