On my way to Haarlem I got the pleasant surprise "No trains between Amsterdam and Haarlem today and tomorrow". Alternative transport was arranged which was a touring car. Well, about 20 probably...
Eventually we got to the beach.
Like a lot of other people because the weather was fantastic.
I left in a rush and forgot my walking shoes. However, walking bare foot was really nice :-)
The tide was coming in and washed a lot of sea-life ashore which had great interest of the seagulls.
There was also something else flying around... Something VERY noisy.
