The daredevil seagul

The apples in our garden are growing hard by now.

We went for a drive to the beach. Well, to the Largs pier Kiosk to be precise, to get some fish and chips. On our way we passed this train.

This is inside the kiosk while waiting for our fishies to turn up.

I keep underestimating the servings in this country so we had half our fries to give away to the seaguls.

I'm teaching them to eat from my hand.

Out of about 40 seaguls that were present only 2 or 3 dared to pick a chip from my hand. It was great fun!

On our way home we stopped by cafe Bravo in town for desert.

There's a cute little oak tree around the corner there.

that's a well funky train... and we don't get gulls that tame over here!

I DID once have a silly row about seagulls being "giant" with some Aussies... I was saying NO they have a 4ft wingspan if not bigger ... they were all looking at each other (all Aussies) like I was weird ... then they went to Scotland by the sea and I get a postcard back "yes you were right the seagulls are HUGE!"!
