hang on I thought yous used a pc not an apple... or is the mac brand new..?
am I right on setting my heart when i DO get a computer on a MAC notebook and not a pc one?
I wanna be able to make radio/tv documentaries (proper broadcast quality picture/sound) and to do lots of photo things... isn't the Apple best for this...?
@ Gled: Actually PC stands for Personal Computer. A Mac is also a PC. Unfortunately the whole world now uses the word "PC" to distinguish from other, non IBM-clone computers. So anyway, I'll stick with the common jargon ;-)
I've been using a PC running Windows for the past 15 years now. I bought this iMac when I came over here just because it's a really complete package and I didn't want some thing gathering dust under my desk anymore. It's all in the screen now. It's VERY nice. I like it better than a PC I think.
If you want to be in multimedia, I heard you're better off with a Mac. I never tried it. The Macs have a fantastic screen though, amazing colors.
If you have the money for it, you should look into the iMacs instead of a notebook though. Notebooks are always far behind in specs due to their size. Except if you're willing to fork out 2-3 times the money of a "normal" Mac.
