We drove off to Melbourne today. We're doing this in two stages, stopping half way. Close to our stop-over there is a salt lake called "The pink lake".

Here Nicole is showing us the Pink lake.

I believe they used to dig up salt here, leaving a big lake. Dried salt is white but 'fresh' salt is actually pink.

After this we continued our drive.

Passing lots and lots of Canola fields.

Then we arrived in
Dimboola. There is a train statue.

And an old bank building that the current owner (who found out it's too hard to start a fancy restaurant in Dimboola) was trying to sell us.

The streets were very quiet.

I see you're using your E8800 to make the trip photos. Good; much better quality than your or Nic's phone.
@ Kees: We call it "The beast" ;-) We've had it for 6 years now I think and there are better models out there but it still makes amazing quality photo's.
Leuke foto's Vince!
