Baby grebes. I'm actually glad I see these 2 because it's been a while and after a bit of an incident with the arriving ferry last week I was scared one had drowned.
Is that what grebes are? Black ducks? Wow... don't even remember seeing one of those (though I've heard of 'em)... The only black birds we get on local rivers are coots. And they're really bald...!!
