The harbour is being prepared for the HISWA 2012.
After work I met Marjolein and we had dinner at Waga's close to Rembrandtplein.
After watching the movie "Dark shadows", which is very nice btw, we went to Mulligans.
When I came home I found this card from my mom and dad.

Does the windmill card say Greetings from Oirscot? I dunno... I love your harbour photos; I still have vivid memories of coming in at the Hoek van Holland when I was about 13 and entering a civilized and cultured country for the first time in my life ... Wow I remember how much Nicole said she hated London, with all that litter lying all over the place, and I really don't blame her. We hardly take pride in our country over here.
When we came to the Netherlands in 1983 or so, the supermarkets were full of all sorts of things you couldn't get in Britain. Like cartons of grape juice. Yoghurts in flavours other than strawberry. All funky things like that... a certain member of my family, who went on about how Britain was best (despite having travelled practically nowhere, and having no information or experience to back up this claim) was completely gobsmacked by the superiority of Dutch food. Basically Holland seemed to be like Britain with a magic wand waved over it... and lots of spelling mistakes in the language...!
Yes, that's exactly what it says :-)
