2007 wrap-up: Croatia - Zagorje

In Croatia we visited relatives up in the mountains. It was unreal. The people there live so basic and independent. Most people would think it's old fashioned or backwards but after being there you can really appreciate their lifestyle. It's closer to nature and much more relaxed.

These people live on a farm, grow livestock, fruit and veggies and make great wine. 3 generations live under 1 roof and manage together.

I am impressed with their lifestyle and the warmth with which they took us into their house.
