Hahndorf

Behind the walnut tree I picked up a lot of walnuts that had fallen on the floor over the past days due to the strong wind.

Early afternoon we ( -I- ) drove to Hahndorf. The way there was without any problems (first time on the free way). The drive back was a little bit more adventurous.

Parked close to our car was this old timer (MG).

I was wondering how people fit behind the wheel here. I sure as hell don't!

Hahndorf is a little village founded by a handful of germans who brought European trees and plants with them. It results in beautiful colours during autumn.

There are a lot of places in Hahndorf with German heritage. Local pubs, hotels and restaurants happily use this to lure in the unknown tourists. Check out the dude on the left wearing lederhosen.

The weather was magnificent today.

On the other side of the road another old timer was parked: A Rolls Royce.

I tried flying my micro helicopter outside but somehow the infra-red transmitter didn't reach the heli well at all. This is funny because indoors it works fine.

Cool die oude auto's! Vooral die eerste ziet er puntgaaf uit, prachtig om te zien. Je kunt nu inderdaad zien dat t herfst wordt bij jullie, de boomblaadjes verkleuren helemaal.

@ kona: Yeah mate, I thought you'd appreciate that! ;-P

@ Ilse, ma: Die MG (rode) was mooi ja maar je zit met je buik tegen het stuur hoor, lijkt me geen rijden. Die rolls was schitterend en puntgaaf.
