The Uleybury winery again

We went to the bakery in the morning to get some fresh bread rolls.

I invited Karin and Gavin to come to the Uleybury winery with us.

It was a beautiful day to go there. You wouldn't say winter starts tomorrow, would you? If you check out the blog of our previous visit you can see that it's a lot greener now.

This is the wine cellar or cellar door as they call it some times.

We didn't come here for the wine only. On the weekend they prepare fantastic quality food. These are our starters. A platter of fine Italian meat and some herb bread.

This was my main course:
Costoletta Di Agnello - Char-grilled lamb cutlets marinated in lemon, garlic, rosemary & extra virgin olive oil.

Gavin, Karin and Nicole had pizza.

The girl in black (Jasmin) served us today and actually (except for one letter) remembered my name! I must have left a good impression last time. The girl in the 20's outfit usually works there as well but she was going to a 1920's wedding. Her outfit was excellent-o.

They are very nice girls and at the end of our lunch (which was also the end of Jasmin's shift) they came to have a glass of wine with us. Good company and excellent food, it was a very well spent afternoon and I'm already looking forward to coming here again.

The drive home took us through the Adelaide hills a bit.

Nicole needed some lemons which I picked for her.

She's baking three cakes for tomorrow's cake and coffee meeting with a few friends.

Walking is nice, but having a car really expands your range. I wouldn't mind a visit to the winery.

@ Kees: Yeah, very true. I think the thing I like the best about being here is the change. So many things work different. There is no Mulligans here but there are wineries and there is an awesome beach.

The winery awaits you Kees. If you come here before September you can have a house with 3 bedrooms, kitchen and living room at your disposal ;-)
