The way to work

Driving on Main North Road towards the city.

Got myself a nice front row seat.

Approaching the Scotties Motel where we turn half right.

Crossing Fitzroy terrace towards the paddocks.

Driving next to the paddocks arriving at the merge point of Main North Road and Prospect Road.

After the merge it's called O'Connell street.

Keep on swimming, keep on swimming...

At the end the road changes name to King William Road and we take the curve to the left...

... and a turn to the right.

Letting people out next to the women's and children's hospital.

Taking off from the hospital we drive towards St. Peter's cathedral.

Aiming straight for town we pass the first lights.

Past the bus stops.

Coming up to the lights where the city begins.

Across the lights the road is called King William Street and I get off at the first stop before Rundle mall.

There goes my bus and I start walking.

We turn left into Rundle mall which is very empty around 7:30 in the morning.

Walk towards the entrance of the CX (City Cross mall/food court)

Turn right into the CX.

At the end of the corridor the food court starts where we go left a bit...

... and right again. There is nobody here except...

Doughnut bakers!

This doughnut bakery is fantastic. I could die there as long as I smell doughnuts. All the bakers were asian people, funny.

Walk past the doughnut place, out of the exit and turn left on to the side walk outside again.

Enter out office building.

Left on to the stairs.

And all this to sit at the smallest desk in the world!

For lunch I went to the soup nazi. They're actually called "Leaf & ladle" and they make excellent soup. I had Minestrone today.

This was my view during lunch, it's quite nice staring outside.

That's quite a busdrive into town. How long does it take to get to work?

They sure are taking a long time to get you a larger desk. Are they still growing the trees for the timber?

@ Kees: It seems long. Because I was super early today (7:15) it only took 15 minutes. It's just a lot of pictures :-)

Usually it takes 25 minutes though because the traffic sucks. I just happened to wake up early this morning.
